While the debate rages on about sanity of the British vote to secede from EU, we here across the pond are seeing the effect of the BREXIT on real estate. Proof of the global nature of our economy can be seen in the immediate effect on our stock market, as well as the positive impact on our real estate market. Here in Phoenix we’re seeing benefits to both buyers and sellers and here is a simple explanation of why that is.
Many have been anticipating a rise in interest rates. The Fed has given every indication that our economy has recovered to the point at which we don’t need low interests rates as an economic stimulus. Downtown Chandler: from outpost to entertainment mecca
This week I attended the Chandler Chamber of Commerce economic update and got a preview of the five year plan for the downtown Chandler Entertainment District. We are in for some great opportunities for eating, drinking, and making merry! The district extends from Chandler Boulevard to the North to Pecos Road to the South; Delaware to the east and Essex to the west. Currently you can find destination venues such as Vintage 95 (a personal favorite), San Tan Brewery, El Zoloco, The Chop Shop (another fave!), the new Brickyard Bar and Tapas, the Comedy Improv, an amazing city library, Vision Gallery, the beautiful San Marcos hotel and golf course, and Crust/The Ostrich, Chandler’s newest Italian restaurant and oldest, newest speakeasy!
